Playing the music of The Mission 1980's goth legends

God's Own Mission on Saturday 29th June 2024

The Mission (known as the Mission UK in the United States) are an English gothic rock band formed in 1986. Initially known as the Sisterhood, the band was started by frontman Wayne Hussey and bassist Craig Adams (both from the Sisters of Mercy), soon adding drummer Mick Brown (Red Lorry Yellow Lorry) and guitarist Simon Hinkler (Artery and Pulp). Aside from Hussey, the lineup has changed several times during the years and the band has been on hiatus twice.

Celebrating their music, God’s Own Mission, is to recreate the sights and sounds of the legendary band in concert.

This highly authentic show recreates the atmosphere of The Mission live, featuring top-flight musicians, a stunning light show.

Come and share the passion for The Missions music as we perform iconic songs from seminal albums such as “God’s Own Medicine”, “Carved in Sand”, “Children”, “”. A true celebration of all things Mission.
