In September 2018, the team behind Village Underground in Shoreditch reopened a derelict cinema in Dalston. The former Savoy Cinema, built in 1936, has been given a new lease of life as a cultural centre comprising of three spaces: EartH Hall, EartH Theatre, and EartH Kitchen.

The three distinct areas have hosted many day and night-time purposes from comedy and debates, to music performances from internationally-spanning genres, to meet-ups and markets.

Our 750-capacity tiered seated venue, built originally as a cinema in the 1930s, retains its original Art Deco features. See everything from gigs, to talks, screenings, and comedy in our multi-arts space.
