TC & The Groove Family are a 10-piece collective whose music celebrates the coming together of cultures, and the unity that music can provide for everyone.
 
Driven by drummer Tim Cook, their live shows are powerful and dynamic, exploring grooves and genres from the UK and around the world, including afrobeat, breakbeat, jungle, jazz and highlife.

The forthcoming ‘We Have Each Other’ EP sees the band refine the sound debuted on their 2022 album ‘First Home’. Working once again with producer Tom Excell (Nubiyan Twist, ONIPA), the project explores a darker sonic palette, channelling a deep appreciation of UK bass and electronic music alongside afro-jazz sounds and hip-hop sensibilities.

Diving in and out of more genre’s than you can shake a stick at, this society of sensational selectors provide an undulating, eclectic backdrop of powerful tunes, hand-picked, twisted up and sent directly to your mind tank. Expect grooves for any get down, tunes for any Tango, bangers for any boogie!! 

Over many years, under the picky ears, of Chai Wallahs director and chieftain Selecta SiChai, this collective has been carefully comprised of an alternating association of tyrannical turntablists, featuring a who’s who from the Diplomats of Sound DJ roster.
