Brilliant night awful venue, too small. 45 min queue for bar, not enough room to dance and should have been told it didn't start till 9.15 pm rather than getting there for 7 as stated and being stuck in that hot crowded expensive environment for over 2 hrs

I bought the VIP package as a gift for myself and mother, paying the extra for what i thought would be a better experience.

We arrived at 7pmish, went to find our seat which we were then told would be no standing. Which I have a problem in understanding why anyone would want to sit throughout the whole performance at the type of event it was!? we were not the only people to complain and when purchasing the tickets I knew this i would have just booked standard tickets.

The whole venue were on their feet and we were shouted and screamed at by staff to sit down when we were trying to enjoy ourselves. I can understand it is health and safety but we should never have been sold tickets without knowing this!

We also spent most of the performance waiting for a drink, there should have been a separate queue for VIP guests or at least more staff to meet demand.

I am most disappointed and will be requesting a refund for this.

Absolutely loved Gatecrasher I had the best night,
Music was excellent, the atmosphere was fantastic but the venue not so good for a music event like Gatecrasher as it’s not the kind of music you sit down to listen to, would be more suited to the O2 academy or Metro arena also the bar was not equipped to cope with the event, we entered the venue at 19.15 it was almost 45 minutes before we got served our drinks due to the queues .. event didn’t start till after 21.00 so obviously had finished our first drink, we then missed a further 25 minute of Gatecrasher when we thought we could nip down to purchase a second drink only to discover the bar area was still full with queuing people, would definitely love to see another Gatecrasher event again but not at City Hall .. thanks for a great night regardless 😊

Venue well and truly let it down. I love the city hall. But not for a gatescrasher night, the queuing scenario was ridiculous. There should have been pop up (plastic) bottle shops set up. We didn’t even end up getting a drink in there as we would’ve missed half the show!

Never was good, bar situation was an actual joke, 2hours to be served at a bar is like nothing I've ever known. We continuesly checked and the cues were same from 7pm until 10.30pm. Compensation needed for all.

Amazing evening, although the venue wasn't really set up for this kind of event, massive queues to the bar all night long and hardly any space to rave as very tight seating!
