Review of Todmorden Agricultural Society Annual Show
There is not enough there to make you stay, unless you watch animals all day. It would benefit from far more craft stalls and plant stalls instead of the majority of stalls being food stalls which were quite expensive. It could be a super show if more stallholders participated with a wider range of goods. The biggest problem we could see was that everything was quite costly, if prices were lowered people would sell far more. The craft tent could have been twice the size with a much wider array of goods.

Review of Todmorden Agricultural Society Annual Show
Rain spoil people’s efforts as we arrived mid afternoon and exhibitors cleared up early. Not as many animal tents as in previous years and we were not allowed to park our 4 wheel drive on the grass so had to park nearly a mile away and got soaked each way. I thought it was expensive for a few hours. Didn’t see any demonstrations as in last year. Will have to check next years forecast before deciding to return.

Review of Todmorden Agricultural Show
I think its great to support local agriculture and farmers so i highly recommend anyone to attend these venues. However, I found the show a lot smaller than ones of previous years but i guess that is because people unfortunately dont support them enough. I felt it was lacking in some equine classes, no heavy horses were there and as they, especially the shires, are an endangered breed, I felt they should be represented in some way, even if only as a promotional demo.
I also felt there could have been more trade stands but I guess that came down to costs too

Review of Todmorden Agricultural Show
This is our 2nd year at the show since it moved from tod park. This years show was blessed with a dry day (in the main). The crowd was large but not oppressive. The stalls and displays were fantastic and it was easy to navigate round the showfield. We will definately be going next year.

Review of Todmorden Agricultural Show
Parking good, however as we left at 1pm I found it difficult getting off the field as neither the marshals or cars coming on expected to navigate a car coming off.
Tickets....I would have liked to by a family ticket locally - tourist information centre Tod. Rather than having to buy on line.
Horses warm up paddock - the entrance for the horse and rider should have been in a different place. They had to walk passed the public...we had children with us and it was def dangerous.
However, very good day out with lots to see, both for children and adults alike, will come again.
