09/07/09 Jackie-O Motherfucker @ Islington Mill, Salford, Manchester. World famous Portland, Oregon band play pyschedelic folk.

16/07/09 KONG - album launch party and tour @ Ruby Lounge, Manchester - KONG, once seen never forgotten - will the Ruby Lounge ever be the same! This Manchester three peice cause a stir everywhere they play.

23/07/09 Flower Corsano Duo @ Islington Mill. Virtuoso performances from Bjork's drummer (Corsano) and Japanese banjo player (Flower). Sketches For Albinos from Iceland also on the bill.

29/07/09 Earthless with Pontiak @ Retro Bar, Manchester. These two US bands have supported some really big names in the US and are both capable of headlining their own tour. Awesome bands that will shake the Retro Bar's foundations.

16/08/09 Oneida @ Islington Mill. There's not much we can say about this Brooklyn band that others haven't already said but all you really need to know is that they are one of the best in the krautrock/psychedelic rock genre. They were planning a day off from their European tour but we managed to convince them to come to the UK and play for the good people of Manchester.

20/08/09 Wooden Shjips @ Islington Mill. We've admired this San Franciscan band from afar for many a year now and their most recent albums are on our daily playlists. Soon to be darlings of the UK music press. A co-promotion with those wonderful people at Now Wave; not to be missed.
