Paul Trouble Anderson was instrumental in the development of London's early dance music scene, a keen producer and broadcaster, his musical endeavors set the bar for all things fresh and funky.

He assisted in making clubs like Crackers, Spats, The Embassy, Global Village and Electric Ballroom legendary, and in the mid 80s he showcased his ‘Trouble Funk Sound‘ and brought his flavour of dance music to the bubbling warehouse scene, whilst remixing gems from the likes of Soul II Soul and Pet Shop Boys.

These days, PTA is still championing the more soulful side of house, all the while running his own record label Troubled Soul Records. He's a favourite with the likes of Southport Weekender and Groove Odyssey, bringing sounds from across eras to crowds both young and old.

We were treated to a groove-filled hour featuring tracks from DJ Spen, Makito and more ahead of his show at Deep Into Soul's end of year party at Prince Of Wales.

Deep Into Soul have been bringing the finest house music to Brixton since 2011, with many people now classing the clubnight as 'The Friendliest Party in Clubland'. Welcoming like-minded individuals in an environment where everyone can feel comfortable, the events encapsulate the true spirit of house music.
