With a plethora of talent already in line for the Merseyside mashup, Liverpool Music week 2017 is looking like a stellar event as the event celebrates its 15th year.
The likes of Chic, Mount Kimbie, AJ Tracey and plenty more have already been confirmed for the seven day extravaganza, which takes place at various venues in the city, however yet more top acts will join them including contemporary soul outfit Jungle, iconic reggae songstress Dawn Penn, and others including Kero Kero Bonito, Abstract Orchestra plays Madvillainy and Blanck Mass.
The news will have Jungle fans hoping for new music from the outfit, who are yet to follow up on their much lauded, eponymous 2014 debut, and the fact they are playing a live show, rather than the DJ sets they have recently favoured, will leave fans anticipating some unheard material.
Additionally, Everything Everything have joined the bill for the closing party on Saturday 4th November, as have The Orielles and there's also new names in the form of GAIKA, Flohio, Klein and Moor Mother, who join the Princess Nokia headlined show.
Palms Trax and Young Marco have also just been confirmed for the Mount Kimbie show at the Invisible Wind Factory while a further show has been added at Constellations on Saturday 28th October. 'Endless' will begin a week long art exhibition of gig posters and art prints with a string of musical performances from the likes of Rongo Rongo, Iron Witch, Super Fast Girlie Show and more.
