Mind-provoking producer and conceptual artist Dean Blunt is the brain behind experimental project Babyfather - tickets running low.

Returning to the Soup Kitchen basement for the first time since 2014, Dean Blunt rolls his Babyfather project into Manchester on Friday 28th October.
Blunt is a conceptual artist with a musical footprint that extends to his part in duo Hype Williams with Inga Copeland to a three record solo stint and beyond. He is widely associated with Venezuelan producer Arca.
His latest work under the moniker Babyfather exercises a political narrative locked on the marginalised people of Britain. Experimenting with dub rhythms and sparse soundscapes, the hyperdub figure - as expected - passes under the radar of genre conformity.
Well-mapped sampling aids a mind-provoking landscape of sonic textures and lyrical artistry on debut cut BBF hosted by DJ Escrow (and Gassman D). Both identities are believed to be alter-egos, which throws up question marks over personnel for the much anticipated arrival of the project.
