British hero Mark Knight isn't normally renowned for his homecoming gigs; the superstar DJ being a frequent traveller, playing the biggest clubs and festivals on the planet. Not just that, he is now proud programmer of the huge Toolroom Nights showcase on his beloved island of Ibiza. So 2012 has been a big year for the Kent boy...

However, Mark always looks forward to arriving home to see the fan faithful that got him to these heights in the first place, and he never leaves a stone unturned with his musical knowledge and crowd pleasing anthems.

Evoke was the setting for his homecoming. The newly refurbished venue has taken Chelmsford by storm since its opening six weeks ago, and has drafted in huge names like Judge Jules, Danny Howard and D.Ramirez to names a few.

Mark Knight's set was truly out of this world. The dance floor was buzzing with excitement. He brought along the atmosphere of Space in Ibiza, and showed the entire club exactly what the real clubbing experience is all about. The Co2 cannons were also used to full effect and drew the crowd centre stage away from the bars. The state of the art LED ceiling caused havoc on the dancefloor as revellers doffed their proverbial caps to the stalwart producer.

We can’t write a review and only mention Mark though. Pete Griffiths warmed up the crowd to fever pitch before Mr Knight, then Piqué raised the roof playing afterwards. Both DJs have rocked dance floors all over the world, and brought all their experience to keep the dance floor filled all the way until closing.
