This August bank holiday, keep the family inspired and entertained at the International Festival of Glass featuring a multitude of events including international arts and glass exhibitions, demonstrations, presentations, comedy, drama, circus and live music performances across four fun filled days. Here is a mouth-watering flavour of what?s on offer this August bank holiday:

  • Live music! The Rajasthan Heritage Brass band, string quartets and Tribute bands.
  • Flame workers, furnace fiends and cool-handed engravers.
  • Auctions, valuations and charismatic BBC television experts.
  • Street theatre, solar panel workshops and soulful eurythmy sessions.
  • Storytelling, puppetry, circus and joyful juggling.
  • Ethnobotany, Apollo missions and Celestial Bodies.
  • Stories of migration & memories of home.
  • Chemists and alchemists, conservators and renowned historians.
  • Masterclasses, workshops and perfect presentations.
  • Plus, fabulous festival food and the local best brews.

We also have a terrific set of workshops geared up just for teenagers, giving them access to work with some of the world?s leading artists. The festival will also celebrate the outstanding work of Glasshouse College students, part of Ruskin Mill Trust (Independent Specialist Education and Social Care Provider www.rmt.org)
