Biography

The original turntable trickster & funk maestro Jimi Needles is the London party-starter DJ of choice. Jimi's turntable talents fuse original and bootlegged funk, soul, swing & hip-hop with big beats & bass music, with a cut-n-paste mentality leaving virtually no genre unturned creating the ultimate party soundtrack.

He is also best known for his intricate genre-spanning party mixtapes, and his funky DIY bootlegs and productions that fill up other DJs crates all over the world. This attracted the attention of artist agency Rocstar who signed him promptly to their all-star DJ roster. rocstar.co.uk/agency/

Not only has he headlined major UK festivals as a solo artist and with his soul band (Hannah Williams & The Tastemakers), he has also toured Australia, Eastern Europe & Italy whilst holding down residencies at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and across London's hot spot venues with frequent performances at Barrio, Koko, Brixton Jamm, Floripa & Big Chill House.
