Fantastic afternoon, delicious food, although lots of queuing. Really great vibe.
really good event, with excellent and efficient vendors. needed more toilets.
Queues were too long, overpriced.
Great event at a great location, perfect atmosphere for families. Even more stalls would have been better though the existing choices were very good.
It was a good event however would have been better with more vendors as we queued for 50 minutes for a rice bowl which when you are with children is difficult. For the amount of people you sold tickets to the area fenced off should have also been larger especially due to the covid pandemic still being a worry for many.
Great food and drinks. Lovely location and clean toilets!
The event was really good but would benefit from a larger area and maybe a re-evaluation of food & drink prices. The food although lovely was extremely over priced for a family friendly event.
It was a decent day out. Food was also not bad at all, Iâve had worse. Music was crap. Overall it was a good vibe.
Not enough stalls, the queues & therefore waits were very long at times. But having said that the food that we tried was very good if a little pricey. Not enough toilets for the number of people there. Itâs nice to have something like this in Wolverhampton & a lovely venue, bit more planning for next time.
Beautiful food and people
Lovely local turn out should more- perhaps needed more toilets. Well organised overall
Was a fab day but took forever to get food ð©ð©
Please do it every year we really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere
a great fun day out with the family, with incredible food thrown in
Queues were long, perhaps more vendors for the number of people there would have helped that.
Definitely needed a lot more tables and chairs for people to sit and eat at, the number of people at the event far exceeded the capacity of the tables.
Needed a few more entertainment options, a single sound system playing music wasn't enough.
Not really a suitable environment for dogs, they often became excitable in the crowd or around other dogs, a dedicated dog friendly area would have been better.
Really well organised. Fantastic atmosphere. Great venue
Queues for food a bit too long, more toilets needed.
Tickets massively oversold so queues were enormous and vendors selling out of product. This ruined the whole experience.
the prices were to high, not enough seating to eat ,and not enough stalls
it was a great social event my only criticism is that the food was proper meal sizes I would have liked to try lots of different foods so smaller portions at smaller prices so I could try a bigger variety. I will go again though
Music was good but couldn’t hear when sat further away from rent but not their fault. Good prices were a bit high but beer prices were surprisingly reasonable. Was so great to see so many people out and enjoying the event with no trouble seen at all. Great family day!
Really enjoy the event, really chilled,, site was kept super clean
Extremely poorly managed queues.
Huge venue on Bantock, yet we were squeezed into a pig pen into a corner fighting for floor space among the random snaking queues around the place.
Parking was not managed at all, managed to dump my car under a tree.
If it wasn't for the general good attitude of all the visitors the whole trip could have been complete chaos. Other visitors were really respectful and well behaved.
Great day, great atmosphere, only objection was that the waiting time in the queue’s for certain stalls was way too long. But other than that it was great and hope they do it again at Bantock park
Fab day, please come back next year
Great family day out, fab summer vibes
Too many tickets sold. Queues too long.
Great range of food and lovely venue

Great event, hope there will be another one.
Brilliantly organised. Enjoyable afternoon. Would definitely go again!
Great event and well run with a good choice of traders
Love it when DDC comes to Wolverhampton but having been to one’s in west park, I think that is a much better location. There was no parking at bantock park, hardly no seating and it was very busy to even find space to stand around. The stalls however had a great variety of food options, even if the queue were long. I do wiwh there was a gluten free dessert option too.
Wouldn’t recommend. Over priced food
Had a lovely afternoon but I think some more seating at the venue would have been good and maybe a marquee to either shelter from rain or from sun, if required. Other than that, great event! Food was amazing and prices were reasonable.
Overall very good experience, lots of food choices and a good atmosphere overall. I remember going to DDC when it was based in Digbeth, and I remember some of the food stalls available, it would have been nice to see those at Wolverhampton. Music could have been better, but that is only down to personal preference.
Very pricey but lovely day overall.
Great day all a but pricey though xx
This was an enjoyable & well run event. I really hope it returns to Bantock Park again.
On the downside, I'm not sure why there was more expensive entry fee. The old Digbeth Dining Club used to charge a nominal £1 to get, which was fine.
We found the food and beer prices a bit high for street food, but the quality was great.
Overall it was a great afternoon and I would recommend going, just a bit pricey.
Events like this are well overdue in wolves and much needed in this part of the city. Hopefully it's a great start to an ongoing event and future initiatives - well done DDC ðâ¥ï¸ð
lovely atmosphere. needed more tables and benches and more toilets as the queues were massive all day . but great to have something like this in our area
We really enjoyed our evening at the dining club. Great choice of food and drinks.
Not great venue and vibe
Good afternoon event - great food but a little pricey for Wolverhampton
Great! Wolverhampton needs more events like this.
Awesome chilled afternoon, great vibes...great food! I tried Sweet freak from The Patty Freaks Stall...amazing!!
Good venue and atmosphere
Just to busy and not enough stalls and queue was really long on every stall
Would love to see you back more
Great food just needs more toilets
Really good vibes, great food.
Music could have been louder and possibly food and drinks could have been cheaper.
However we all had a fantastic time and would definitely go again.
Simple hassle free setting. Good variety of food and drinks. Had a lovely time.
Michael James Howes
Awful no vibe rubbish music not sure what we paid for everyone was just sat in there groups . More entertainment needed could have done that in my garden
Brilliant day out. Be prepared for long queues for food and toilets
Fantastic venue! Do more DDC events here please!
Live music or entertainment would have been better. The djs were good though. Not enough benches to sit at. Would have like to parked my car in the even area like in other dining clubs I’ve been to. Especially with small kids as they sit in the boot and enjoy the food. Especially when it’s raining 😍
Great atmosphere with a good mix of people
Great day, well organised, good food and even better music! Well done all envolved
Great event! It was lovely to have it local rather than in a city centre. Family friendly, great food vendors and a chilled atmosphere! Again soon please!
I will go back if they do another of these locally.
Wouldn’t have booked tickets if had known info re transport / parking / entry restrictions at point of sale
Brilliant day throughly enjoyed by all
Had a really lovely afternoon. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was really good. Looking forward to more events like this at Bantock Park.
Great event - thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great day and event.
Disappointed with the ‘Dj’ music that was provided but all in all great day and value for money.
Great afternoon. Should do more often at Bantock Park.
We’ll organised event. Long queues for food, & a bit pricey.
Great day - bringing all cultures , ages & even dogs together through the love of food.
Gorgeous venue, stunning food choices & good variety of drinks.
However booking a wedding event on the same day, creating limited parking spaces on site didn't work.
Great day, good atmosphere
Music could be better and too many pets..sat down dogs on leads but no control they were practically sniffing your food.
What’s a vibe 🙌🏻
Should have open up the park a bit bigger,
More summer music
Should have a bar with lots of ales
Great event in my local park! Nice to see lots of people together enjoying good food, drink and music 👌
Great but stalls are very expensive
Great day all round. Amazing selection of food to cater for all tastes and the kids entertainment was fantastic
Enjoyed the event but this was ruined from the moment we pulled up by the lady security guard on the road before you entered Bantock Park, she was extremely rude to myself, partner and anyone that she came into contact with, i think someone told me she worked for BCP and was not event security but the parks, this lady should not be working with the public she had no people skills, or communication skills, our day was ruined from that moment
Music could have been better
Too many people for the amount of stalls. Queues were ridiculous. Also it's a food fayre - smaller portions at cheaper prices would allow people to try more of the offerings!
Prices were too high
Look forward to next year 👍
A great family event which was well organised. Really enjoyed ourselves. Only negative would be when entering and being informed that a ticket had already been used which could not have been the case as I named each ticket and in fact had one spare!
A really fun experience. Kept nice and clean, loved that it was dog friendly. I thought the prices were a little steep for some food items but that’s typical of street food!
The queues took wayyyyy too long but it was a brilliant day
Fabulous day out, stayed much longer than I expected. Good to see entertainment for the children too.
Maybe a few more portaloos next time though
Good atmosphere lucky rain held off long enough, prices a bit steep for drinks but food choices were brilliant
Overall a great day! Lots of food choice. Only critic, food portions are huge. Would be better if small and cheaper so you can try more things
Great day, great atmosphere, maybe more seating would’ve been better
Far too many people were allowed in, I waited in a queue for food for half an hour and no where near the front, queues generally were this long for all the food.
We left to get food back at home.
Brilliant day glad to see this come to Wolverhampton, hope it will again
The dining club events are always great to go to
Great afternoon spent relaxing at excellent venue and plenty of stands with a good mix of food from different cultures.
We had a great afternoon in Bantock Park and ate some fabulous food
it was a fab afternoon, the only thing I thought was the portion sizes were too big, this prevented me from trying all of the different types of food.
Excellent event for whole family. Was very well attended with a friendly atmosphere.
As a local resident I walked over the park next day and was extremely impressed with the clean up u could not tell that the event had happened it was so tidy well done thanku
Great afternoon out!
Didn’t manage to try many foods as the portions were quite large, I’d prefer if there were smaller portions offered so you can try multiple places.
More activities for children would have been good
More stalls and toilets needed for the number of people attending
i was so happy to see the Digbeth Dining Club come to my town and my doorstep! the atmosphere was so good, friendly, family orientated and all welcoming.
what would have helped is to have some more seating areas!
prices of food were somewhat higher than i think justified approx £12 for dishes. I did not think that catered for everyone's budgets.
I was pleasantly surprised that the beer quality was very good, i have often had poor quality over priced beer at such events but the tents supplying the different brands were all good decent quality and taste.
would love to see such events come to Wton again!
