In aid of WISH - St.Helens & Widnes group that aims to support local children and their families diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. As parents of children with Type 1, we understand the impact it can have on life and how devastating the news of your child's diagnosis can be. For parents, the group gives us the opportunity to talk to people to who understand what it's like to live with Type 1 Diabetes. For children, the group is about having fun with other children living with the same condition.

and Diabetes UK - We are Diabetes UK. Our vision is a world where diabetes can do no harm. Diabetes affects more people than any other serious health condition in the UK. More than dementia and cancer combined. That means we need to take action now. We provide information, help and peer support, so people with diabetes can manage their condition effectively. We are one of the largest funders of diabetes research in the UK.
