Review of Village Green 2019: Festival of Arts & Music
The sound quality at the main stage was terrible, no matter where you stood-it actually sounded better the further you got away from the venue, which after a really boring set in the middle of the afternoon, and a rather lack lustre performance by the fine young criminals and a incoherent muddle of sounds by Busted we soon realised as we headed away from a very disappointing day.

Review of Village Green 2019: Festival of Arts & Music
Great time but so many restrictions have been added over the years. The cost from being free to what it is now, just expensive. The food and drink is so expensive as-well. That lets it down. Music was good from Becky Margaret to Busted. X

Review of Village Green 2019: Festival of Arts & Music
It was much better when all the family could stroll through our park at no charge. The charges for drinks are exorbitant. It has lost its atmosphere, these days. It is not child friendly & therefore family friendly due to this.

Review of Village Green 2019: Festival of Arts & Music
What an amazing family friendly event. It was so well organised and thought out but more loos needed. There weren’t any near the mini green area (why?!?!?) when little ones need to go they can’t wait for over half an hour! That aside, I was blown away that most of the activities were completely free. We didn’t get to do half the stuff we wanted to as there was so much to do.... be fab to spread it over two days next year. Thanks for a great day out

Wonderful day out with my fiancee and niece, first time we have been but will definitely be going again next year. Lots of fun activities for our niece to enjoy.

My daughter went to this event with her friends. She came back with a big smile on her face and announced that she had 'had the best time'! This was her first day out at a music event without parents and from what she has told us, it was a wonderful environment for people of all ages. I think the ticket price was good value too.

Great little one day festival. Was like a mini Glastonbury with all the weird and wonderful stuff going on, was all very eclectic. Was much bigger than I expected and prices were very reasonable too.
Although we went as a group of adults it was very child friendly too, they had loads for the kids to do.

Toilet queue was really long for females (as expected) but there must be some way to remedy this.
The bag search was a bit much, I’ve never had my purse taken out of my bag and cards pulled out and searched before!
Apart from that it was a really good night!

Being a local resident think is wonderful to put together such a great family day out.
However maybe a discount should be given on entrance to those of us who use the park every day and who are bombarded with people trying to park in our roads and over our driveways surrounding the event. Just a thought?
Massive Congrats to the organisers and local businesses who partook x

Let me just say how much effort the organisers put in for village green festival 2019. It was my first experience and won’t be the last. There was something new to look at everywhere. Another thing was the music and let me also praise them all for being amazing, bloody missed of them though due to spending hours in the silent disco lol. I would highly recommend coming to this event. Family friendly fun everywhere!
