The Shoe Factory Social Club offers free warehouse space to the local community during the regeneration of the site, exactly one hundred years after the factory was built by shoe-makers Sexton, Son & Everard. In 1972, the company sadly went into receivership with the loss of 700 jobs and the factory has been empty since.

FRESH Artisan Market is back following a hugely successful Xmas Market in 2016 and features over forty local artists and makers with authentic street food, workshops and live music bringing energy and creativity to this fantastic space.

New this year on the Friday night is 'FRESH BY NIGHT' - an evening market with the added attraction of a beer launch by ALL DAY, a local artisan brewery and Print to the People a social enterprise offering workshops in the city. for more information please email freshartisanmarket@gmail.com
