Beres Hammond & Sanchez on Saturday 25th August 2018

Beres Hammond is an awesome musical talent, Jamaica’s greatest practising singer /song writer responsible for maintaining a mighty legacy of soulful reggae music
Over decades Beres has poured his Smokey sweet voice an instrument of subtlety and power reminiscent of Otis Redding or a Teddy Pendergrass, over every kind of riddim from the funked up reggae jams of the 70’s fusion band Zap Pow, to the digital beats of the 80’s dance hall “What one Dance Can Do “ The 90’s proved to be Beres decade during which he blazes a trail of numerous classical hits like “tempted to touch and “who say” ,“Putting up Resistance” “Come Back Home” and “Double Trouble” Beres sophisticated musical tasteis well suited to translate easily across cultural divides, yet the international reggae massive has remained his most loyal fan base .Nowhere is that adoration more apparent than at his riveting, dependably sold out concert performances. As he tears through hit after hit, Beres often extends the microphone towards the audience who exuberantly sing along, often drowning out the extremely delighted performer on stage
Beres Hammond a true Legend

Sanchez is one of the all time favourite singer/performer who transforms his audience into a mass choir at his live performances. Influenced by the likes of Brook Benton , Sam Cooke, and Tom Jones He epitomizes elegance and style and is always splendidly attired in a formal suit, enhanced with gold chains and bracelets, giving fans the ultimate in appearance and presentation. His selection of songs range from soulful R&B to hardcore Dancehall, Reggae, balanced with religiously calming cuts that enhance the spiritual vibes of his act. His first hit, the Winston Riley produced, 'Loneliness,' recorded in 1988, is still one of his biggest hits. In that same year, he was voted Singer of the Year, 'Loneliness' was also voted Song of the Year, and this led him to his first appearance at Reggae Sunsplash. Since Loneliness, Sanchez has scored with big hits such as, 'Wild Sanchez', 'Love Mi Lover Bad'(a combination with DJ Florigan), 'Fall In Love,' 'If I Ever Fall In Love Again,' 'Pretty Girl,' 'One In A Million,' 'Hello,' 'Amazing Grace,' and 'Frenzy.” In his earlier days, Sanchez was labelled as the singer who does too many covers; yet by the same token, he was simultaneously acknowledged as a special singer who received much international fame and recognition from doing these same covers
