Review of Bill and Ted\'s Excellent Adventure!
Great pizza, meat, veggie & vegan options. Odd combination of bar, restaurant and venue, although it works because it's so relaxed. Having said that it's too small for gigs like this with people having to go out onto the street for air between acts. I liked the concept idea but didn't really gel with the acts on, felt like it was a personal joke that the audience wasn't included in. We went specifically for Organ Freeman, great act but same material as last time we saw them four years ago.

Review of Dick Valentine solo acoustic
The first thing is; you can never go wrong with a ***** Valentine show. In the years he's been doing this he's built up a strong and dedicated following whilst still being easily accessible to new fans. He played stripped down acoustic versions of Electric Six tracks and cuts from his previous solo albums, all of which sounded immense.
The support group, Decibel, where great too. They performed some nice quirky fast paced rock. These guys deserve some decent exposure.
The venue was fantastic. Dark but not pitch black. There was no stage so to speak, you where right there on the floor with the act, which was really nice. The drinks and food where incredibly reasonably priced. Having gone to see ***** Valentine at certain other venues you'd pay the the same price we paid, for a bottle of beer and a vodka and c**e, for one medium plastic cup of beer.
All in all it was a fantastic night, always great to see ***** Valentine live. I'd definitely go back to Maguires for more shows like this. Highly recommended.
