Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
A lovely idea and obviously lots of effort had gone into it - lots of lovely activities like s'more making but it was lacking in a lot of ways.
The rides/activities included in the price weren't accessible due to the endless queuing which made a £60 fee for a family of 4 excessive. Lots of fraught families with small children.
Would have been lovely to have had Christmas stalls set up as there have been at previous Crafty Vintage events. It just appeared that too many tickets had been sold for the amount of activities/rides there were.
However there were positives...the pizzas and doughnuts were tasty! The s'more making was lovely and Northern Heights were great. The brass band was great with a super singer.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Really disappointing. Cost us over £50 for a family of 4 but nothing to do for adults and the 3 rides were only suitable for very young children. The advertised market and maze weren't there and the craft in the memorial was closed. The only free craft in the tent was colouring in or making reindeer food and despite being told things were free once inside, other crafts had to be paid for.
Appeared to be only half of what was advertised so have asked for a partial refund. No response from the organisers on Facebook or by email so far. Shame.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Considering 2+ year olds are full price the event didn't really cater for this age. I felt it was more suitable for ages 4 and above. Really nice idea and the park looked fab but hopefully if there's a next time the price will be considered or there will be more on for toddlers.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Morning
It was so expensive for what it was. And the crafts were really poor - why are we making reindeer food with glitter in - this is being banned in the EU to stop plastic pollution. It looked better value for very young children, but for 7+ there was really very little for them to do. Why were the adults paying to get in as well?

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Could have perhaps been distractions for the smaller kids in queues as they were quite long. Thought there could have been more rides, we ended up just using the parks on site to keep them occupied. Mine were 9 months and 21 months and they were bored. Better for older kids. Probably wouldn't bother to go again but was a fair experience for something to do.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Everything crammed into a small area rides were for young children but the queues were so long for each not great with small children needed to be more rides and spread out better.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Too many people, too long to que, went to put grandkids on the swing ride, they had to fasten themselves in or us fo it as the lad responsible for that rude was sat in the middle falling to sleep, also a age should be put on for the children's ticket as its not for children over 8.
