Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
We arrived Sunday afternoon to find that all of the craft stalls had been taken down because of the windy weather. All that was left were entertainment for children and a few food stalls. There was literally nothing of any interest for adults. Living locally I access Williamson Park, for free, all the time so spent £11 for the privilege and saw exactly the same thing I would do normally. I heard no music.
The weather was clearly not factored into the planning - December, in the North West?!! I went to the High Point festival last summer and was also very disappointed in the quality of the provision - music, food. I won't be going to anymore Skiddle-arranged events - you have an amazing location, a local population with money and every opportunity to put on high quality events. I do not understand how this can be so difficult.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Morning
Expected more from a highest point event. Adults shouldn't have to pay. Such a shame, as little to do and no atmosphere at the Sunday morning even, could of used the space a lot better.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Wasn't value for money in the slightest, 100% oversold, and not family friendly at all, especially for prams.....wouldn't pay
For this again, there's a similar event in heysham which is even more value for money

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Complete waste of money for 2 adults. 1439 session late opening despite queues of people waiting. No stalls near Butterfly House at all and all the stuff at the bottom of the steps was aimed at children. Very disappointed.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Echoing most other comments to say it was overpriced & under delivered. Half the activities were missing and the queues for the few things that were there were abysmal. Unfortunately I booked the Santa visit (who was very good in fairness to him) but £17 for 2minutes and a selection box is unjustifiable. Add that to the entry fee (which covered 3 rides, a sand picture & facepainting) and £7 I had to pay to park in an offsite car park; I'm feeling a bit cheated.

Review of The Big Christmas Day Out - Sunday Afternoon
Lovely afternoon, felt very Christmassy. The event was geared more to younger children. Going forward I feel it needs activities for older children. Otherwise a great set up
