Yorkshire prepares to host UK’s biggest walk on the wild side on Saturday 12th - Sunday 13th October 2019
Drawing inspiration from hit TV shows Blue Planet, Dynasties and Our Planet, the show’s line-up of celebrity speakers and exhibitors will inspire visitors the knowledge to make the switch from armchair viewers to worldwide travellers.
Headline speakers include adventurer and conservationist Holly Budge, founder of charity How Many Elephants, and BBC ONE Show’s wildlife presenter Mike Dilger. Wildlife travel experts will explore topics from wildlife travel photography and planning your wildlife safari holiday to the growing trend of polar and wildlife cruising.
Visitors can experience trips of a lifetime in the 360 Virtual Reality Travel Experience theatre including swimming with seals and meeting the penguins. The Sketch for Survival wildlife art exhibition will have its northern premiere at the show and feature sketches by artists and celebrity supporters including Dame Judi Dench and Sir Ranulph Fiennes.
