Review of The Myth Of Serial killer Profiling
Absolutely fascinating talk on a subject I’m very passionate about. This talk basically changed the way I thought about serial killers & the methods used to describe them. I’ve attended many many talks on the subject & now all that information I’ve learned has been under scrutiny! Thought provoking & very much worthwhile!

Review of The Myth Of Serial killer Profiling
Brilliant evening, I highly recommend this event to everyone interested in true crime, profiling and police programs.
Professor Jackson highlighted how serial killer “profiling” doesn’t work, I absolutely agree after watching true crime for many years I’ve thought this for some time. He presents clear evidence, in a very understandable and interesting way.
Although this is a serious subject, professor Jackson uses tasteful humour, occasionally without disrespecting the innocent victims.
Review of Hunting killers
Show was excellent, very interesting - thoroughly enjoyed. The sound on some videos was poor , not sure if it was the sound system or the fact that they were old clips.
Doors weren’t open by ‘last entry’ time on tickets which meant everyone had to stand in the hallway & outside in rain - no queuing system

Review of Hunting killers
I went to learn more about what made serial killers tick , how did the police etc find the serial killers .
I felt the presentation told me all I had already read from books about serial killers

Review of Hunting killers
The talk was very interesting and the time passed very quickly. We both enjoyed the evening. However, 2 points:-
1) Mark was for the most part a very clear speaker but had a habit of quite often “swallowing “ his words at the end of a sentence which meant we didn’t always catch the words and therefore didn’t get the ending of the sentence .
2) It was promoted as “getting into the mind of a killer “. We had very interesting facts on how they had killed and their plan, but not what initiated them to want to kill. We would have liked to know what possessed a person to decide to go out to specifically kill somebody.
However, all in all an evening well spent.
