An tSeaneaglais (The Glassworks) is a former 19th Century Georgian Church building. The performance space boasts natural church acoustics and period charm. Large stained glass windows, iron pillars and original floorboards and seating pews all add to the character of this heritage space. The venue is also equipped with a comprehensive in-house PA system.
This room was established as an exciting and integral music venue during Derry’s City of Culture year in 2013. It has featured prominently in the international media as a venue for RT�’s Other Voices series in 2013/2014.
In the past three years it has played host to internationally renowned artists and performers, such as: The Gloaming; Public Service Broadcasting; Foy Vance; George Ezra; Liam � Maonla� (Hot House Flowers); Marina & the Diamonds; Neil Hannon; Damien Dempsey; East India Youth; Little Matador; SOAK.
