The brand new £12 million Essex Sport Arena is an innovative, multi-purpose space, available for sporting events, conferences, exhibitions, trade and craft shows, celebrations, weddings, dance events, entertainment or any other large-scale event.
The main arena has 2,076m2 of floor space (60m x 34.6m) and seating for up to 1,655 people. It can be sub-divided into five separate spaces, giving full flexibility to suit your event. On the first floor there is a 150m2 (25m x 6m) function room, bar and lounge area, ideal for hosting drinks’ receptions and smaller meetings.
The arena is set in over 200 acres of beautiful parkland, within the University of Essex, Colchester Campus, and has the luxury, 4* hotel, Wivenhoe House, within the grounds. There is on-site parking, is easily accessible by car, train and bus, and just one hour from London and Stansted Airport.
