LITTLE THIEF

With sounds similar to The Black Keys, The Hives and Queens of The Stone Age, LITTLE THIEF’s new single “Me and My Monster” is described by the band as sounding “like a deliciously dirty, triple-stacked, extra-cheesy, heart attack”. Singer, Charlie Fitzgerald says the song was written about “trying to fend off your demons...or at least keep them at bay”. The Bristol based three-piece have been making a name for themselves around the UK with their upbeat & highly energetic live show.

THE DEAD FREIGHTS

Formed in 2015, The Dead Freights are an indie rock’n’roll band from Southampton, UK. Consisting of frontmen Charlie James and Robert Franklin, bassist Robby Spencer and drummer Louis Duarte. Dual harmonies, with a redolence of a Lennon/McCartney partnering, strut over crunchy, melodic guitars twinned with a powerfully tight rhythm section. The Dead Freights prowl any stage with a classic, contagious rock’n’roll attitude and a strong arsenal of suggestive, driving anthems. After playing in and around the UK for three years, the band signed to indie label Mi7 Records in mid-2018. They recorded at Abbey Road studios in late-2018 and released their debut single “Reason & Walls”. They were named “Big In 2019” by This Feeling.
DROOGS
Droogs are a three-piece band from Bristol formed in 2017 comprising of Joe Harding (vocals and guitar), Ben Fisher (bass) and Sam Taylor (drums) They play violent and irreverent, bass-driven Punk which draws inspiration from The Fat White Family, John Cooper Clarke and The Damned. Adolescent rhythm section Sam and Ben met as kids and spent the majority of secondary school barricading themselves in the music department lying in wait for the perfect front person. At the age of 16, they found labourer Joe and shoved a microphone in front of him to capture his vulgar and ridiculous rants which encapsulate the sheer futility and boredom of everyday, working life. Their unique sound has been described as Slacker Punk and Art Punk. They are currently recording their first single “ Make You Laugh” which is due for release in July 2019.
