With Freshers right around the corner, it is time to take a look at the best parties that you can find up and down the UK this year. It's been a long time since Freshers has happened with students being forced to be wrapped up indoors during the pandemic and sometimes even shut into their accommodation.

It hasn't been a great time to be a student but hopefully, this academic year will be much better, there'll be more people celebrating than ever as those who missed last years action will surely want to go through that experience this year. With that in mind here are ten of the best Freshers parties to attend.

Made in Manchester

When: Monday 20th September

Where: Venue Nightclub, Manchester

When coming to a new city it's a good idea to get acquainted with the local nightclubs and Venue in Manchester is one of the best spots you'll find in the city centre. For this special night they're going to give you the full Manchester experience, playing the best tunes from this iconic city of music. Expect The Smiths, Oasis, Happy Mondays, New Order and much more mixed in with those established indie anthems.

Run Come Freshers Special

When: Saturday 18th September

Where: Club PST Digbeth, Birmingham

Run Come returns to give you a Freshers special featuring Chopstick Dubplate. Their third post lockdown show, Run Come are welcoming in jungle and DnB lovers to Club PST where the party is really going to get started. With two rooms of MC's and Dj's there are special guests yet to be announced so don't miss out.

Freshers Mansion- Liverpool

When: Thursday 23rd September

Where: Revolution, Liverpool

This promises to be one of the wildest event that you'll find in Liverpool during Freshers. Revolution in Liverpool will be transformed into one massive place to party with a pool party room, rave room, social room and a champagne reception. They're going all out with giant inflatables and confetti cannons to give you the best welcome to Liverpool nightlife.

The Tuesday Club Freshers Carnival

When: Tuesday 21st September

Where: Foundry, Sheffield

Coming to Sheffield is a huge lineup that will be taking over Foundry. With two main rooms, this is your chance to see the legendary D Double E, Andy H, Gracie T and more. They've put together an insane night that is going for a relatively cheap price given how much talent is here. It's the perfect way to kick off Freshers.

The 2021 House Party at Xoyo

When: Sunday 19th September

Where: Xoyo, London

Found in the heart of Shoreditch, Xoyo has established itself as one of the best clubs in London. Brace yourself as you're exposed to their depth-defying sound system which will be shaking your bones all night long. Welcoming in freshers over two rooms with a mixture of House, Bass, hip-hop and RnB, it'll be a memorable night.

Freshers XL- Welcome to the Old Red Bus Station

When: Friday 24th September

Where: The Old Red Bus Station, Leeds

An extra-large Freshers event, let The Old Red Bus Station welcome you in and hopefully hook you in for good. This is one of Leeds' best venues for dance music and within this small space comes a freeing sense of hedonism. They've got Jungle, DnB and UKG playing throughout the night with a lineup that is big on quality.

Igloo- indie & 80's

When: Wednesday 29th September

Where: The Drawing Board and Bluebox, York

Igloo are throwing it all the way back to the 80's for Freshers this year. With help from some indie friends, the biggest anthems will be playing and that disco ball will be glittering as you lose yourself in the music. Some modern indie favourites will find their way in too and there will be glowsticks provided so go wild.

Fat Poppadaddys Brighton Freshers

When: Monday 27th September

Where: Chalk, Brighton

If you're new to Brighton it may be time to get acquainted with Fat Poppadaddys which is the most popular alternative music night in the city. Existing now for over 23 years, this beloved night in Brighton will be putting on all the alternative tunes you can think of at Chalk. There'll be tracks from Two Door Cinema Club, The 1975, Arctic Monkeys and more.

Freshers bass rave: Jamie Duggan

When: Monday 27th September

Where: Lakota, Bristol

You're in for a treat if you end up going down to Lakota in Bristol on September 27th. Jamie Duggan will be headlining a rave that threatens to blow the roof off of the venue. He's joined by Oppidan, Eloquin and more in what is Bristol's beating heart of underground music. This one is a biggie.

Zander Nation

When: Thursday 30th September

Where: Finlays, Glasgow

Local Glasgow favourites Zander Nation are going to be doing one big Freshers blow-out which is the perfect way to get acclimatised to life in Scotland. You can expect to find a mixture of electronic, dance, old skool and all your classic anthems. It's going to be a very fun night at Finlays.
