As part of Giving Tuesday, Skiddle has launched a new partnership with Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, pledging to raise £44,000 to fund a variety of medical services for young people over the next year.

To reach the target, 11 of our staff will be undertaking their most dramatic challenge to date by climbing the Inca Trail in Peru in October 2019. At an altitude of 13,800ft, the group will spend five days climbing across three high mountain passes, walking a total distance of over 26 miles. Find out more and donate to the Inca Trail trip.

The news comes after it was revealed that we have more than doubled our target for support for Macmillan, having raised almost £200,000 so far. See more about Skiddle and Macmillan.

Skiddle started our ongoing fundraising for Macmillan in 2016 following the tragic loss of the team's friend and colleague Chris Glaba to cancer at the age of 27. Customer Care Manager Ella Green will run the London Marathon in 2019, in the hope of contributing towards Skiddle's next target of £250,000. You can follow Ella's journey and donate here.

A way to counter the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is a way for individuals and companies a chance to support causes that are important to them.
