Shesaid.so have confirmed the details for MEETSSS, the first female-first, music-forward conference which will take place from 3rd-6th October in Portimão, Portugal.

The event will also coincide with the community's 5th birthday.

MEETSSS will embody shesaid.so’s core brand values: collaboration, diversity and inclusion; focus on personal and professional growth for female-identifying professionals in the music industry; nurture community among music executives and creatives of all genders; and showcase the work of women, non-binary and other underrepresented talent in the music business.

Members of the network from all over the world are invited to gather to bring their online connection to life and nurture new friendships in the music industry.

Topics include personal and professional growth; intersectionality, diversity & inclusion; starting and running your own business; mentorship and community; mental health and wellbeing; solutions to address workplace harassment and misconduct plus other music industry issues.

The collective have just announced she.grows at MEETSSS, a mini-mentoring scheme supported by YouTube Music. As part of this partnership, they will be targeting five mentor/mentee pairs to take part in a series of mentoring activities throughout the event. The five mentors are selected from the MEETSSS speaker and delegate list, while mentees will be selected via an open call.

The summit will be supported by musical showcases featuring local and international artists with a clear but non-exclusive focus on female-identifying talent.
