In 2007 Sergeant signed a contract with Mercury Records shortly followed by the band playinh at both 2007 T in the Park and Glastonbury Festival (official) with Xfm Scotland's Jim Gellatly marking the band as one of his favourites for 2007 Prior to the release of their first album, the band
were chosen to support Oasis on their final Scottish tour date and later touring the UK with Scots
favourite The Fratellis.
Sergeant frontman Nick Mercer said of the acoustic tour
"This is something different for us and reworking the songs into a more chilled sound really creates
something different to the usual Sergeant shows,we are buzzing for it"
