It's falling closer and closer to the big day, but there's still plenty of options for you this New Year's Eve if you have left it too late. Whilst many are sold out there's more than enough gems nestled in the selections, particularly if you fancy doing something that little bit different to the usual club fare.

Enter Reggae Roast, one of the capital's most loved celebrations of Caribbean culture as well as the reggae music which adorns its name. They will be ringing in 2014 with a typically wide ranging exploration of the genre, taking in dub, drum & bass, hip-hop and dancehall, as well as all the beats that flirt in between, in Brixton's Plan B this NYE.

The main room will bustle to the sounds of the Congo Natty family, consisting of Rebel MC, Tenor Fly, Congo Dubz and Nanci & Phoebe all present and correct with the rewinds and ruffneck vibes. They'll also be supported by an exclusive Reggae Roast set from UK Hip-Hop royalty Rodney P & Skitz - anyone familiar with the reggae infused output of the former during his time at London Posse will know what to expect (check their timeless album Gangster Chronicles on Spotify above).

Add to that main room Trojan Soundsystem's Earl Gateshead, King Jimmy and more, as well as DJ Crises and the Love Kulture DJs at the helm in room two, and it's evidence of a delightful concoction for a skanking start to 2014. All listing and ticket information is located here.
