British indie icon Peter Doherty has announced a last minute date at Liverpool's Hangar 34 - coming to the Merseyside venue on Sunday 27th January.

With a career that has spanned over fifteen years, Pete Doherty is one of the most recognisable personalities in British rock and roll, fronting both The Libertines and Babyshambles as well as embarking on a solo career of his own - spawning anthems such as 'Don't Look Back Into The Sun', 'Time For Heroes', 'Fuck Forever', 'For Lovers' and heaps more.

After years away, Doherty and Libertines co frontman Carl Barat buried the hatchet back in 2010 for a date at Leeds and Reading festival, and since then the band have gone on to release album number three whilst also delivering a headline tour and huge shows at Hyde Park and Glastonbury.

Doherty's solo shows promise the same kind of chaos and carnage attributed to his bands' shows, however a more acoustic theme tends to take precedence with deeper cuts and album tracks always on the menu, with the singer no doubt also dipping into his most recent solo effort Hamburg Demonstrations.
