One of Manchester's longest-running and most favoured club destinations, Joshua Brooks has announced plans to reopen its doors to the public once more, on Friday 23rd July.

Under new management and currently undergoing a huge £200,000 revamp, courtesy of new owners Jorge Meehan and Brian Murphy (Wile Out Festival, Southern Sunset Festival, Social Avenue), the popular music venue will boast an all-new look and feel, offering the 24-hour party people of Manchester a place to drink and dine throughout the day, and to rave long into the night.

With over 20 years of combined experience, the entrepreneurial pair will be turning their expert attention to breathing new life into Joshua Brooks, restoring the historic venue to its former glory whilst also unveiling some new additions, including a terrace area and on-site food kitchen courtesy of Cubanitos.

A campervan turned food kitchen concept, Cubanitos will be familiar with the festival-goers amongst us. Set to be a permanent fixture at Joshua Brooks throughout the remainder of 2021, the street food vendor will offer punters a tantalising taste of Cuban street food from 12 pm until 11 pm every day. Expect traditional Cuban sandwiches, tongue-tingling Picante Burgers, artisan Hot Dogs or Ropa Vieja, and much more.

As day turns to night, those eager to begin an evening's session of partying early can treat themselves to a range of expertly crafted Cuban-themed cocktails or one of the many draught beers on offer - from Camden Hells and Goose IPA to Manchester's very own, Manchester Union Lager (Listen to Manchester Union lager's Taproom Playlist here).

Once refreshed, revellers can make their way down into the hallowed underbelly of this infamous venue, where the basement will play host to a handpicked selection of the world's finest techno, house and funk DJ's.

Starting with two mind-blowing opening parties this month, those lucky enough to secure tickets can expect to hear world-class sets from Darius Syrossian, on Friday 23rd July, and Tool Room label boss, Mark Knight, on Saturday 24th July. "We are so excited to reopen the doors to Joshua Brooks. When we found out it was no longer returning as a club, we felt compelled to take the project on so Manchester didn't lose yet another clubbing institution. We have so much love for the space, after running events there for over seven years, and we are so proud to be able to open it up once again."

Tickets for the first of the two opening parties have now completely sold out, with limited tickets remaining for Mark Knight's 'All Night Long' performance on Saturday 24th July. Grab one now, whilst you still can, below...
