The International Music Summit (IMS) will relocate to a new home for a new decade in 2020, as the global electronic music gathering moves to Ibiza's Destino Pacha Resort for its thirteenth edition.

Occupying the White Isle for three days of 'conversation, connection and celebration' from 20-22 May, the summit - co-founded by Pete Tong in 2007 - involves a multitude of panels, debates, masterclasses and, of course, parties.

With a focus on sustainability, wellness and equality, and an aim to promote 'positive transformation' in the electronic music industry, the theme running through IMS 2020 will be the 'pursuit of purpose'.

Speaking about the theme and the relocation, IMS co-founder Ben Turner said: “Upon the thought of entering a new decade with IMS, we had to ask ourselves, ‘What is our purpose?’. In doing so, we questioned our whole existence, our home, our vision, it's a moment to reset and refocus.

"IMS remains committed to providing a platform for debate that can inspire change, and by moving to Destino Pacha Resort, we hope we’ve finally found a location exclusively for our delegates to immerse and connect in an inspirational setting. If you are a person, an artist, a company, or, in fact, our entire genre, we all need to be true to ourselves and find our purpose. That is what the all-new IMS is about."

In partnership with Skiddle, IMS will once again culminate with a huge open-air party at Dalt Vila - Ibiza's 2,500-year-old fortified old town and a UNESCO World Heritage site - previously headlined by the likes of Peggy Gou, Adam Beyer and Charlotte De Witte.
