Uk indie darlings The Primitives are set to revisit their now iconic, acclaimed debut album Lovely which was released three decades ago this year.

The Coventry band's opening studio gambit  featured the single ‘Crash’ which was a huge success, hitting number five on the UK singles chart while also helping the band cross over to a mass audience.

Since its release it has featured in countless films and is synonymous with the band's legacy. As well as that absolute smash, the album also featured the likes of 'Thru the Flowers', 'Stop Killing Me', 'Way Behind Me' and 'Out of Reach', helping it go down as one of post punk's finest.

It'll be this stellar debut effort, plus much more from the band's glorious back catalogue that they will delve into when they hit Yorkshire this summer, on Saturday June 30th June, to blitz through their discography at The Chapel at the Church in Leeds in a benefit concert for The National Autistic Society.

The Primitives are also set for shows at Manchester's Ruby Lounge on Wednesday 27th June and London's 100 Club on Friday 29th June.
