American R&B sensations Boyz II Men will play in London, Manchester and Birmingham during Spring 2019. The group's huge record sales were responsible for placing R&B music back at the top of the American charts in the 1990s, the first time the music had been so highly valued in terms of sales since the 1970s. They will revisit all of their best known songs of the era at O2 Academy Birmingham on Friday 5th AprilManchester O2 Apollo on Saturday 6th April 2019 and London's Eventim Apollo on Sunday 7th April.

The Philadelphia-born group, whose ballads and a capella harmonies were usually placed atop contemporary hip hop beats, currently tour as a trio, Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman. Their 1990's hits included 'It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye To Yesterday', 'I'll Make Love To You', 'One Sweet Day' (with Mariah Carey), 'Water Runs Dry', 'On Bended Knee' and the evergreen monster 'End Of The Road'.

So enormous was their success that only Elvis Presley, The Beatles and Mariah Carey have spent more time in the number one position at the top of the American singles charts. At the start of their career the band were being produced by some of the biggest names at the then vanguard of American soul/hip hop including Dallas Austin, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. In 1995 they joined the likes of Paul McCartney and Eddie Van Halen in guesting on a Michael Jackson album when they appeared on 'HIStory'
