Dating in Disguise Unites Lovers in Costume

An exhilarating new speed dating experience launches in Leeds this Valentines eve, where those looking for love, are invited to pick up a mask and leave trepidation at the door, allowing confidence and character to pair them up with their ideal match, at Dating in Disguise, 6pm -9pm Thursday February 13th,Tailors Speakeasy, Leeds Grand Arcade.

Re-fashion your love life this Valentines as Dating in Disguise brings a whole new ethos to the dating game, offering the opportunity boost your confidence and lose your inhibitions, whilst relying solely on your charm, charisma and wit to carry you through the fun filled evening, which could lead to romance!

Guests have been told to expect team games, challenges, dares and trivia, alongside 2 rounds of speed dating, in an inclusive fashion, to inspire fun, laughter and conversation, whilst eliminating the worry of ?what to say next?.

Owners Jamila Juma-Ware and Matthew Wignall, are no strangers to the dating game, the gin loving duo met on Tinder over 5 years ago.

Jamila commented: ?Anyone who?s been in before, will know we love to inspire conversation, fun and laughter ? through a relaxed atmosphere, and vintage costume ? which is definitely a conversation starter!

?Nothing gets people speaking like a little laughter. We love giving people the opportunity to be a little silly and just have some good old fashioned fun!

?Dressing-up at Tailorsgets groups chatting to others, and by the end of the night people are chatting like they?ve known each other for years ? when in fact they only met a few hours earlier, over the exchange of a top hat or a flapper dress!

?So we thought, why not apply the same recipe for love? That?s where we came up with the concept for Dating in Disguise.?

Upon entry, guests will be welcomed with a love potion cocktail, for a little Dutch courage, with teetotal options available. There?s a secret love note corner, where you can discretely let someone know they have an admirer, as

well as a lover?s lucky dip and vintage costume rail to add some glitz to your disguise.

Then it?s time to dazzle and delight with personality and charm!

The night ends with dancing - so bring those shoes, throw those moves, and the Tailors team will bring the razzmattazz!
