DJ pioneer Laurent Garnier returns to Liverpool for huge show this august

World-renowned dance brand, CIRCUS will host the trailblazing French DJ at the Invisible Wind Factory live music venue, in the heart of the northern metropolis

Esteemed dance label and Liverpool-based event brand, CIRCUS has announced a colossal Bank Holiday clubbing event, on Saturday 28th August, featuring a very special appearance from dance music sovereign and in-demand electronic producer - Laurent Garnier

A prolific creative and seasoned selector, known and adored by fans of dance music around the world, Garnier has been entertaining enormous audiences for the past three decades.

Starting out as a pirate radio host somewhere in the suburbs of Paris in his early teens, before moving to the UK and kick-starting his DJ career at Manchester's infamous Hacienda nightclub, back in 1987, the acclaimed French music virtuoso has since gone on to conquer some of the biggest stages in the world of dance music. 

Still performing to a new generation of partygoers and remaining productive as ever in the studio, he's appeared on the listings of Manchester's massive seasonal nightclub, The Warehouse Project in more recent times, whilst also continuing to put out huge dancefloor hits on respected imprints the likes of Kompakt, 50 weapons and Hypercolour to name a few.

His eclecticism and ability to turn his hand to a wide variety of genres and styles, and his talents in production have earned him a royal status amongst his peers, with his output continuing to have a lasting and influential legacy on electronic music.

CIRCUS will host Laurent Garnier at Liverpool's Invisible Wind Factory alongside rising star of the UK's prosperous house scene, Lewis Boardman. Witness two masters of dance at work, live from 10 pm until the sun begins to rise at 4 am on Sunday 29th August.
