Creamfields announce The Chemical Brothers as Friday night headliners

The British electronic duo will perform in front of up to 70,000 festival revellers at Creamfields first event since 2019, this August

Organisers behind the worlds biggest electronic music event, Creamfields have recently announced dance music titans The Chemical Brothers as this years Friday night headline act (27th August).

A firm favourite amongst regulars of the huge outdoor festival, the in-demand electronic act - comprised of DJ/producer duo Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons - are set to return once again, playing out the second day of the sold-out event on the colossal North Stage.

Recognised by music fans the world over for creating their own unique and distinctive, big-beat electronic sound, seamlessly blending a multitude of individual influences and genres - from psychedelia and trip hop, to rock, pop, house and techno - the Manchester based twosome have undeniably become one of the greatest dance collectives of modern times.

Boasting countless hit records and collaborations with some of the music worlds most inspiring and influential names, the likes of Noel Gallagher on the pair's classic track 'Setting Sun' and rapper Q-Tip on chart-topping single 'Galvanize', and with some of the trippiest, mind-blowing live visuals to boot - we fully expect the pairs set to go off at the return of this years highly-anticipated event.
