Following on from powering the tickets to BBC Radio 1's Academy shows in Norwich earlier in the year, we will be again teaming up with the beeb to power the tickets for 1Xtra's equivalent in Bradford from Wednesday 30th September to Friday 2nd October.

The station will be mixing live broadcasts with workshops for young people to help them get in the media, with everything from making music with Charlie Sloth to advice on how to run social media accounts all in the program. The likes of Mistajam, DJ Target (who presents the Bass Music Awards in November) and DJ Woody will all appear.

All week we're down at OPENNorwich for the #R1Academy run by BBC Radio 1. Hands down the highlight was Leona Lewis getting drenched for Scott Mills' Innuendo Bingo yesterday

Last time we witnessed a mixture of hugely useful discussions and entertaining moments, one of the picks of the latter Leona Lewis struggling on an episode of innuendo bingo (watch above). If you can't make it to the event we'll be providing a running commentary of some of the events on the Skiddle twitter account.
